Chairman of the Trust

Martin Knapp is Professor of Health and Social Care Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is active as a research leader in the fields of social care, child and adult mental health, dementia and autism.

Dr Nellie Adjaye MBE

Trustee

Nellie is a retired Consultant Community Paediatrician with expertise in Children with Special Needs including Autism and ADHD, with additional expertise in Child Protection.

Ann Freeman

Trustee

Ann is a retired health professional. Years of experience working with a variety of professional agencies, families and carers associated with the progress and wellbeing of young people, particularly those with additional needs such as A.D.H.D and Autism.

John E Taylor

John joins Hearsay Trust from a business background and brings invaluable experience with him.

Sandra M Kidd

Trustee

Sandra has experience working as a Human Resources manager in an international development consultancy company. Previous to this, she worked for nearly 30 years as a primary school teacher and has a keen and active interest in children and adults with special educational needs.

Ruth has a background in supporting parents, schools and in managing young people with additional needs along with supporting parents, families, adults and young people/ adolescents experiencing mental health difficulties.
